How it works
From payment to delivery, SecurebyPay protects buyers and sellers throughout the entire transaction. Here's how every transaction is securely managed from start to finish.
Create Transaction Link
Either party downloads SecureByPay and initiates a unique transaction link to kick off the deal safely.
- For the Buyer: You initiate an Order Link detailing what you are purchasing.
- For the Seller: You initiate a Payment Link detailing what you are selling.
Secure Escrow Payment
The buyer pays through the designated SecureByPay account where funds are safely locked in escrow.
- For the Buyer: Your money stays protected and is not sent directly to the seller yet.
- For the Seller: You see guaranteed, secured funds in your SecureByPay account balance before sending any goods—eliminating fake alert scams and unpaid orders.
Seller Prepares the Order
With payment fully confirmed in escrow, the seller safely packages the item.
- For the Buyer: You can rest easy knowing the seller is actively preparing your order.
- For the Seller: You fulfill with complete peace of mind knowing the funds are already secured.
Optional Quality Assurance
For eligible transactions, the item undergoes pre-shipment quality verification.
- For the Buyer: For a small fee, have your item checked before it ships to ensure it matches the agreed condition—optional, but recommended.
- For the Seller: Clear inspection records protect you against false buyer claims or item swap scams after delivery.
Logistics & Delivery
The order is handed over to a trusted logistics partner for shipping and tracking.
- For the Buyer: Track real-time delivery progress while your payment stays protected in escrow.
- For the Seller: Ship directly with zero payment chasing or payment reversal concerns.
Delivery Confirmation & OTP
Once the item arrives, delivery is verified using a One-Time Password (OTP) or buyer confirmation.
- For the Buyer: You only share your confirmation OTP once you receive the item as described.
- For the Seller: If a buyer receives the item but goes quiet, funds release automatically within minutes so you never get stuck waiting.
Instant Payment Release
Upon delivery verification, funds release directly into the seller's balance.
- For the Buyer: You got exactly what you paid for with zero risk.
- For the Seller: Funds arrive in your account instantly with no chargebacks to worry about.
Dispute Resolution
When Things Don't Go as Planned
If a transaction doesn't go as planned, SecureByPay provides a fair dispute resolution process.
- For the Buyer: If an item fails to arrive or doesn't match the agreed description, raise a dispute within 1 hour to lock the funds and request a full refund.
- For the Seller: A buyer cannot arbitrarily withhold funds or walk away with both the goods and your money.
- Fair AI Dispute Resolution: If parties can't reach a mutual resolution, our AI-powered Dispute Resolution System reviews every dispute against submitted evidence (proof of delivery, photos, inspection reports) to deliver a fair, unbiased decision within minutes.
Buyer Opens a Dispute
If the product is damaged, incorrect, or doesn't match the agreed terms, the buyer can initiate a dispute within the allowed review period.
Chat with the Seller
The buyer and seller are encouraged to communicate directly and resolve the issue before further action is taken.
Escalate to SecurebyPay Admin
If no agreement is reached, either party can escalate the dispute for an independent review by the SecurebyPay team.
Investigation
Our team reviews the available evidence, including transaction records, delivery verification, and any supporting documentation submitted by both parties.
Refund or Seller Payment
Based on the investigation, SecurebyPay either processes a refund to the buyer or releases the payment to the seller, ensuring a fair outcome for everyone involved.
